sorry the exhaut was thrown away with the rest of the truck when we parted it out. dont have much left of it, just a few interior pieces, and the susp. lift and wheels and tires, if you want any of it let me know.
 
I have a hook up that does any labor like putting in a muffler, cutting out reservoir tanks and all that for 20$. A full cat back system he charges like 50$. Im just trying to find the cheapest I can get this muffler.
 
:cheers: if you pay more than 40-45 bucks for it you are getting taken, those flowmasters are not expensive off the shelf. IMO the best way to get the best deal is to talk nice to a muffler shop and see if they will just sell you the muffler you want at cost plus 10% and tell them you are putting it on your self. if that doesnt work let me know the exact muffler you want and i will see if i can get a deal for you
 
2 1/4" OD and was run/bent custom in same position as original exhaust except turned out behind passenger rear wheel. About $300 w/ muffler which was a good price...Does not sound redneck....
 
2 1/4, wow i was right, didnt mean to offend anyone with the redneck comment, but when you live in memphis, it seems like every hick with a jacked up truck is in competition to see how loud they can make their P.O.S. sound. It gets old around here.

Jeez, If you can get them to bend duals in the original position, above t-case and frame rails for 50 bucks you have found a good deal, whatever muffler you put on...The good thing about the 40 series is you have a dual inlet/outlet mufffler that will act like the crossover, no need to weld a crossover in to equalize pressures.
Mine has no resonators and sounds good...

Haha so true. Everyone here has a 6 inch lift on a Chevrolet Silverado Z71 or a Chevrolet Tahoe and straight pips with the cats cut off so not only is it insanely loud, its just s***ty and dumb sounding. Oh, cant forget the Buckshot Maxxis Mudders.

Now Im debating on the 40 or 50 delta flow series. Can someone please do me a favor with a short video clip? I just would like to hear something before I bought it.
 
I'm running a 40 series with 2-1/2 pipe-no resonator, and yes it is a bit loud and drones at 40-50. I'm not going to replace it now, but when I do it will be a Magnaflow or 50 series.
 
Some vids with sound, of different set ups, would be really cool... :)

I can work on my rig all day long, but the odds of me figuring out how to shoot video and put it up on the web are pretty slim. :doh:
 
I had it for like 5 minutes. Then I told my local muffler guy to take it off.
Our rigs have a straight 6 engine. It sounds completely different than a V8.
Not nice and deep like a V8, but loud and obnoxious. Don't do it.

Did you go back to stock, or something else?
 
I went with a different muffler, plus another one as a resonator.
I've got to go back and check the brands. I think I've might have posted that info on another thread.
