i had to add my 2 cents here.. At the Last TLCA Colorado Cruisers meeting, (Held at the local Toyota Dealer).. An "Automotive Consultant" interupted the meeting with print outs of MSN's write up of the Truck and his Biz card.. He stands in front of 15 Cruiserheads and informs us that the truck will not be coming with a Chevy 350 like the First Land cruiser did.. We inform him that no FJ came with a V8 stock, and he keep arguing with us for like 2 or 3 minutes about it.. Wrong Crowd to try and inform about what cruisers came with! lol

Ummm . . .

Ask that "Automotive Consultant" when I should be bringing in my 1959 Land Cruiser for the retroactive V8 that Toyota now owes me. :D :D

that's good stuff

I was looking at Cruisers for my Dad one day and the sales guy told me that the "Toyota Accord" was a great car... I immediately left.

I drove my BJ40 FST to the Toyota dealership to look at a car on their lot and it took ten minutes before the sales manager, probly in his late 40's, noticed it and came out. I'd thought that it being so cherry and unusual might have brought some attention to it at a TOYOTA dealership if anywhere.

He knew what it is, asked me right off if it's a diesel and asked a lot about where I got it and if the 39K km was original milage. nice enough guy, and he knew something of his company's history.
Once he was out there every one of the sales drones came over and tried to pretend that they knew all about it. Bunch of useless asskissers is all they were They had sized up my old car, my clothes and hair and stayed away before that.

Oh, ...the FJ looks like Kermit the Frog. :D
