Are the drive shaft lengths on the FJ80 vs. FZJ80 the same or if not how close?

Fronts are the same, rears are not. 92FJ80 is 2 inches longer than a 93FZJ80

The 93-94 without FF rear axle and disc brakes also uses the longer rear shaft.

Good to know. I'm planning to put a FF in my 91', this info saved me some time down from sourcing parts.

You will still need the longer shaft. The difference is in the transfer case rear output.
