the point fine sir is that the power to weight ratio of the xj is superior and thats about it. And you can get a manual. I've never driven a pretty little fj cruiser equiped with vsc or ifs, or that was designed after a box of wheaties, but by the looks of it it doesn't look like it be ale to out drive a turd. ever. even with the vsc off.

it is pretty awsesome to be able to stomp on the gas when the roads are a little wet and be able to power slide from a dead stop. 97 jeep with 4.0l and 200000miles. and it will roast the tires like cazy. get a manual with a limited slip in the rear.
Its far more impressive to stomp on the gas and never lose traction. Sliding all over the place in a 4wd is not a good thing.
Sorry to raise your ire, but I was kidding around, hence the smile face.
I have nothing against Cherokees. Heck they are one of my favourite 4WD cars!
edit: An FJ Cruiser can do 0-60 in just over 7 seconds (7.2). Me thinks a Cherokee can't...
i was kidding to, but if you have to drive a car every day, then every once in a while you gotta let the dukes of hazard we all have deep down, out. even in a metropolitan area.
