Is there a quality conversion kit available in the US market for a 1988 FJ73? If so, please recommend the kit's manufacturer and any experience or lessons learned from performing such a conversion.

Not that I know of (not for a kit) anyways.

I guess you have your reasons for going manual to auto but not something I would personally do. I have to wonder why you would do this.
