As you can see nothing lines up. I even tried to line up holes with out the cubby tray, just the brackets alone, and no joy. :bang:

Wally-

So it's only been about 2 years since your post .....Did you ever figure this install out?? I'm beating my head against the wall trying to solve this mounting in my 62. Everything I have is identical to yours.

Just started putting my wire harness together for my stereo install on my FJ62. I have a solid blue wire left on the adapter and a blue/white wire left on the stereo wire plug. The blue wire is labeled "power antenna" and the blue/white has a sticker label on it that reads "ant. cont". Do these go together or just leave them be? I figured every wire was gonna mate with another wire.

I recommend leaving the antenna circuit untouched. You don't always want the antenna to automatically extend. Nice to have control if your driving through trees.

Is that what that's for? I definitely don't want my antenna going up automatically. Should I leave the wires bare like that or maybe slip a little shrink tubing over it?

Definitely cover any bare copper. They will have +12V, at least intermittently on power up.
