so easy, so cool. i love IH8MUD

thanks!

this jeep youtube helped me figure out what the NSS looked like. i didn't disassemble and clean as in the video. just loosened the two bolts (appears jeeps have only one) and rotated it slightly until i saw the white reverse lights (like DOGMARLEY, I had ignition on, engine OFF, and in reverse...garage door was closed so i could see the reflection off the door since i was alone and couldn't directly visualize the lights change) turn on, then retightened the bolts and viola!

Update: Got my reverse lights working again with just a simple adjustment of the NSS as suggested. Unbolted, readjusted, and re-bolted. That's it. Life can be so simple sometimes. Time for a !

I'm having the exact same issue, with my 62, the bulb flickers when I switch to reverse than shuts off. Can you explain or have a link on what you did, I'd be forever grateful!

I’ve used this fix for my reverse lights too. Moving the NSS has got my reverse lights working again, but there is a delay (sometime short delay, sometimes a little longer) with the lights coming on after I shift into reverse. Has anyone else has this issue?
