Guys. Checked the forum but couldn't find an answer. Do I need to removed the skid plate to access the transmission fluid fill? I can see both the fill and drain for the t-case but not sure I can access the tranny fill with the plate on. If so, how hard is it to remove skid plate on the floor w/o a lift. Thanks.

I think so. The skid plate is held on by 5 bolts with 12mm head. I loosen all the bolts, then I use a jack stand to hold up the long side while I take out the remaining two bolts on the short side. Then I slide it to the ground. It's not bad at all. Takes less than five minutes total.

The transmission fill plug is on the left side (drivers side in US) of the transmission body about 3/4 the way up.

You can also use your boot to hold up one side while you work on the other. Or a soccer ball.

i just slide under it and use my knees to balance it.

You can pull the shifter and fill through the top. Filling through that side hole is a pain unless you have a high flow pump.

Ditto on what Cam said, I have a pump attached to the gallon jug of 90 weight to get it filled. But if you do it like cam I'd lay a trash bag down around the carpet cause you'll never get the smell of 90 wt out of carpet.
