Finally addressing this myself. My neighbor is a welder and has the wire and has for stainless. I'm pretty stoked with how it's coming out. The stainless is harder to work with than mild steel but I believe this will last much longer.

I still need to find a local test vehicle for these. Looks like great work and your routing will work well. Doing exhaust is probably my favorite automotive thing I’ve done so far. Like fitting legos together haha

Also, what is this little tube on this pipe in the photo? Is it needed for emissions or something? My truck did not have this on it when i got it

The small pipe is for the EGR valve. Personally, I would love to have a new downpipe that removes this because I've completely removed the EGR system from the truck. Non-US models have a pipe that doesn't include this but those pipes are difficult to source. I hate this silly pipe.
