Hi all,

I'm posting to see if anyone experienced anything similar. I got coolant in the oil. It is still idle fine and no smoke. I did a compression test and got these numbers:

#1 (front) = 159
#2 = 160
#3 = 155
#4 = 150
#5 = 155
#6 (rear) = 157

Any idea what I am expecting? Gasket or head cracked? Appreciate any feedback.

Alex

Plugs looks normal (black on the tip).

When I poor coolant in the radiator, after a minute or so, I can hear liquid drip into the block. The drip sound seemed to come from the middle, around #3 or #4 cylinder.

Pull the valve cover. Could have a crack in the head or freeze plug no longer plugging.

There are diagnostic methods for determining this. Cooling system pressure test for example.

Hav eyou already dissasembled your oil cooler to inspect it?
