My fj 60 has no center console. I have looked at Tuffy products and cannot find any specific applications for the FJ60 . Does any one have any solutions other than the stock replacement or fabbing a custom one?

there's a kit to fit the tuffy in any 60. also try quadratec for their $75.00 special on their brand of console. there was a thread on the quadratec recently.

use the seearch luke...

I think that Cool Cruisers of Texas has a mounting bracket for the Tuffy. They also have their own brand of console. Can't speak to quality or ease of installation.

Cool cruisers does not have a mounting bracket for the Tuffy's anymore. The one pictured on their site (flate plate) does not exist. When I ordered mine they sent me their own brackets for their console and said they would fit on the Tuffy. Well, they are clueless. You have to actually drill holes to match it up to the factory mounting holes. The brackets they sent with my Tuffy don't match up to either the console or the mounting holes in my 60.

sounds like if you want to instal the tuffy console you have to fab your own brackets to adapt it to the fj60 mounting weldments

I INSTALLED MINE FROM COOL CRUISERS. THERE WAS MINOR DRILLING. I LIKE THE LOOK AND THE QUALITY PLUS THE EXTRA STORAGE. CUP HOLDERS WORK TO.
this looks like the way to go. thanks for the reply

I just bought a console out of a 05 dodge durango and I am going to fit it into the hole. It looks like it will fit in there perfect with the very front of the plastic cut I will hopefully have pics this weekend. Plus the kicker was it was only 25 shiped to me.

last time i checked coolcruisers they had a specific tuffy console for the 60 series, not just a bracket for them. i havent been to the site in a while but im pretty sure they are still selling it.

I have the CCOT console, it's a direct bolt in.....I only had to unbolt the front seats to access the bolts. Still happy with mine after more than two years.

no need for a mouting kit for the Tuffy, just redrill the console to fit the OEM brackets

I'm with Landpimp

I just redrilled the Tuffy to match up to the backet already in the floor.

I may have even used the original holes on the right side. Leave room at the rear to get the backseat folded down, room at the front to get your coffee in the cupholders and still shift into 2nd and fourth. and room on the left side to operate the E-brake with out busting your knuckles. Keep all that in mind make a template and go for it. I needed longer bolts, and had trouble finding those but finally did...take your time measure twice drill once.

I'm with Motoman taking the consol out of a different vehicle. I put a centre consol from a late '90s suburban in my 60 about 5 years ago. There is lots of room and plenty of cup holders. It was nearly a direct bolt in, and I just relocated the heater switch to inside the lid. If you didn't know a 60 consol you would think it was stock.

had my tuffy for ages, totally worth the price. looks like they're on sale at CCOT. definately measure twice -- my pass seat belt suffers from my focus on clearing the ebrake.

I have a tuffy and it fits fine. I fabbed some brackets to mount it to the stock console mount points, and use the separate rear foot trim that came with the tuffy. I installed a 12V cigarette receptacle in the foot trim so I can have power to the back seat area. I was able to position it so I have cup holders front and rear and can still put the rear seat forward. It's a little tight up front, the big thirsty-two ouncers will interfer some with the shfiter, but normal-sized cups and bottles work fine.
