This is my first post. I'm working (fixing up?) a 1970 FJ55. I have lots of questions but I'll start with this one. Has anyone put sliding windows like they had in the old Forerunners or in the FJ80 in the rear cargo windows of a 55? Don't expect pics of my rig since I'm technologically impaired and can't either take or post pictures. I've already gotten a lot of help from just reading the forum so thanks in advance

can't say I have seen a 55 with sliders either, with the power rear window I dont see a need and prolly niether did Toyota.

I don't think it was a matter of need, it was a matter of looking cool. Also, I saw somewhere a diagram for a spare tire rack that fit inside. I think it was available direct from Toyota. Can anyone remember the link?

my 55 has an interior tire carrier, its from Spector I think. OEM...........don't think so, fj45LV's did however.

Thanks, I'll check with SOR. More Questions to come. As always Pimp, you are the man.
