FJ55 in Bend Oregon...pair of local eyes to scout it out.

Hello,

I am a Fellow MUD member from Toronto Canada who has been on the look out for a FJ55 for sometime now. I have found a 70 FJ55 in Bend Oregon and I was wondering if someone was local to this PIG and check it out for me before I commit to shipping it across the country? I spent a good half hour talking to the gentleman who owns it and it sounds promising. It would just be nice to have a second pair of local eyes have a look at it. If it wasn't too much trouble any help would be greatly appreciated. The current owner had no problem with having someone else looking at it for me. He has 2 F motors that are supposed to go with it. I have no interest in them but, maybe someone here does?

Hmmm, I'm in Bend. I can't be much help anytime soon, but if nobody has offered to help go take a look at this pig, I will... eventually. I've noticed this one for sale locally recently and it seemed like a good deal for a decent pig. I assume you're looking for a pig with as little rust as possible and little/no body damage. From the pics in the ad, again, this rig appears to be a decent starting point. I've tried keeping myself from looking at it because I was afraid I might buy it if I saw it.
