FJ55 calipers on FJ60 axles?

I found some FJ60 axles locally (750 shipped from 300 miles away) but they do not have the calipers, Just curious if my 78 FJ55 calipers will bolt on? (If need be, i'll be waiting till they show up and try them on)

Anyone know off hand?

They will bolt up, no problem.

What's your plan with the 60 axles? Do they have the 3.70 gears in them.

Ron, they have 4.11's, they will be going into my 55 when i do the spring over.

Nice, that's what I put in my 60 axles. Sounds like a good price to me.

Glad the price sounds right, havent been able to find any close by to gauge a price range.

Since i'll be doing 37's, i might have to throw something a little steeper in there, figure the 4.11's should get me around fine until then though.

On my old 40, I ran 38 inch mudders with 4.11's. It also had a 327 chevy in it. It wouldn't be rock ready in today's standards. It did fine for what I was doing.

Who knows i might stick with the 4.11s, have to see once its rolling.

i already had the gears, so i geared, but if i didn't, i wouldn't bother and would instead save up for orion...stupid low off road and passing folks on road all in one
