was ordering new wheel cylinders(hoses, brake tubes) from SOR for the front and rear drums of the bone stock 1964 45LV, went fine till they called back a few hours latter saying the 45LV uses a different rear cylinder than a 40 does, something about the bore size
can anyone confirm or deny this?
I went thru my old parts books and they don't show a different clyinder for the rear, in the 40 main book or the 45LV supplement.....so I assume they are the same
and while i would love to have it apart and know what I am looking at.....I am kinda in a pickle to do that......the front right is locked up solid in the shed...making tearing it down not really an option. plan to get front moving and take to my buddies shop down the road. But want to have the parts....
