FJ45 Road trip 2018 Black Hills (1 Viewer)

Its time again for another Road trip. Its been 5 years since the 45 and I drove Coast to Coast. Ive always wanted to meet and wheel with the folks putting on the Black Hills Cruiser classic in Deadwood South Dakota. So in the last few weeks I have been upgrading the head lights, checking fluids, getting new tires and finally hooking up a cruise control. Plan is hit 11 States with a total of 4037 miles round trip getting as far east as Minnesota then working my way west to SD. I will have more updates during the trip and stops. Looking forward to adding a few more magnets to the dash

Things are coming together, Picked up a new set of KM3's for the trip so far I'm really liking these tires

Since theres a good chance there will be shade when I'm camping I drilled and welded some nuts into my tent frame, found a rod figured out a way to at least post up an umbrella LOL

Truck is as Road worthy as I can make it Plan is leave early Thursday morning

Good morning Utah. Had a nice early am driving. Was having some heating issues early today .so I thought. Bad connection to the sending unit. Camping outside Richfield Utah tonight. Early day tomorrow. Heading to Cruiser Classics in Sadila Colorado next.​

2037 miles so far. Truck is doing great. Sorry for the lack of updates. Early mornings and lots of miles to cover. Right now I'm in northern Minnesota standing at the Headwaters of the Mississippi River. Amazing. Next stop somewhere in North Dakota

Had a good night sleep in Bismarck ND KOA. Today I can go in two different directions to get to the black hills .Stopo St in Jamestown ND at a dealership. Great guys there restoring a 1974 FJ40. Then I paid 6 bucks to see a stuffed White buffalo lol jamesJame buffalo Museum. I'll try to get more pictures posted
