Hello. I'm looking for a Fj45 pickup 1980-1984 and I found one but the bed is different of the other trucks. The owner says that it is the original bed. Could somebody knows something about it. My research shows that some fj45 in venezuela has that kind of beds. Could be possible the toyota factory in venezuela assembly the truck with different bed? The red and yellow truck has the same bed of the truck that I'm going to buy. The blue truck is the most common bed.

Just guessing, but the first two beds may be from a Banderanti. Not to be confused with a Land Cruiser.

I have never seen a '45 box like that either.
The tail lights, tailgate and the headache rack (yellow truck) look stock though.
In a number of markets, the trucks came from Japan as cab and chassis only, and local dealers supplied a locally built box.
So, it may have come from the dealer like that; it most almost certainly did not come from the factory like that.
There are some on here that know far more than I do though.

OK, more info.

I think its like Kevin said they come into some countries like that. Looking at the first 2 and looking at some pictures I have saved on my computer those X s seem to be on a'lot of trucks so it must be a dealer in south america that supplies them. It would be the same for the fj45s in Australia it seems a few dealers make trays for them.

The owner of the truck is telling the truth in regards to the box. I think of a original box like the ones you see in North America.
