Hi
I have one very similar to the one on ebay but mine is a camper with duel tanks and full length rooof rack. It is also in mint condition. What i have learned in the last 2days is that toyota made them for only 2 years and in a very limited capacity. Mine is a 1978 which I think is the last year they were made and 1977 being the first year they were made.............but I could be wrong if any one knows for sure let us know because it is a cool rig

do you know how it is called, that type? Maybe you have a picture of the registration plate on the firewall under the hood, or more pictures of the car?

homemade rig

It looks to me like a homemade rig out of Australia. I have seen a lot of strange things being imported lately looking across the web. The big question is how soon it will fall apart. A lot of these trucks look like the only thing holding them together is duck tape and bailing wire.

This is now on ebay, truck is in south carolina.
Ok the question is what is it.

Looks really home made to me. There floor is not corrugated and is that a rear bench seat or the fuel cell?

fj45

You guys seem to be quite clueless about these rare and cool rigs. Open your minds a little. They will outlast a typical fj45 as far as rust goes and as far as falling apart .... I have owned more then 7 fj45's and this one is by far the neatest...The only draw back is it is not a great wheeling rig because of some of the Mods

Your right I am clueless about these, I was not bashing them just pointing out that there were two alike for sale. Why are you selling yours if it is the Neatest one you have owned,

It is for sale but not sold, I usually do that before I start dumping money into this one . My reserve is very high for a reason ,and that is i don't want to sell it but if some one reaches my reserve it is gone....And I love searching for them and It gives me a reason to go back to OZ
