Hope you guys don't mine an interloper popping in really quick.
My small business, Mideast Classics, was referenced in your "Spotted thread".
I grew up in Topeka and it was my dad who was at the car show with this truck. He and I are trying to sell restored/rebuilt Cruisers back in the States. After doing my rebuild (not a true restoration) in the UAE I realized that a properly done truck didn't have to cost a ridiculous amount. So I figured I'd see if I could see a few Stateside.
Anyway, this 1980 FJ43 is in Topeka and for sale. I've got it listed for $52,900. It's got it's original motor in it and the only modification was addition of front discs (using Toyota parts). All new seals and gaskets, using only OEM parts, etc. New seat upholstery. New soft top. Repainted 416 Dune Beige.
Not sure if any of you guys are that interested but if you wanted to take a look you aren't far away. I'd welcome constructive criticism from some other stateside Cruiserheads.
