Hi Josh, how are you doing? I remember you. If you want to come up and see the factory roof bows I have come on up. I have never seen a reproduction one so I don’t know the difference.
Doing great, John. Starting to work on the rig again. I put the soft top away for a while and am going back to the hard top. It needed a lot of work, but I am at the point of no return now. haha. I will probably roll with what I have as it's pretty good. It's going to be interesting setting those rivets!

Once I finish the top, I will head up the hill and say hello! Hope all is well with you!

Thanks,
Josh

my 01/78 has the notch for a sprayer nozzle and the windshield frame is plummed for a sprayer up top.

Where did you get this picture Matt?

That style mirror ended when the washer nozzle started. Possibly an error in the 9/77 change over?

@pardion John, I am restoring my hardtop (setting rivets this weekend), and this got me thinking mine might not be OEM. I have a '67. Is mine aftermarket?

We met a while back when I was looking for some soft top brackets. I'm down the hill from you. Hope all is well.

Josh

Is that hoist anchored to the ceiling used to remove and install the hard top? I have something similar that has a wire shelf. Thought of modifying it with two long runners the width the top.

It is. I built it a few years back and it works great. I can send you pictures if you would like.

One thing I would recommend is anchoring some tie-down straps running diagonally across the roof so if for whatever reason the hoist fails, the tie-downs will catch the top. Nothing ever went wrong with the hoist but I felt better knowing it was there. I connected to one of the eyebolts you can see by the hoist.
