AFAIK, 4link suspensions are not street legal either.
IOW, it wouldn’t stop me from trying them, if thats what I wanted to do. The tires I drove into DV last fall on were 17 years old.
I was thinking the same thing; Nitto calls them a 33x9.50R15LT (light truck) tire with a 109Q load/speed rating which is 2271lbs per tire and 99mph....my '40 is lighter than 10,000 lbs and could only get to 100mph if I was towing it behind my Super Duty! Not sure how much sleep I'd lose knowing they don't have a DOT stamp......not advocating anyone else do this of course.....
