Wanted FJ40 Project Truck-Father/Son Project

Hello,


Looking for an FJ40, running or not to buy as a project truck for my son and I to work on together. Looking for something 76 or newer. Does not have to be in the Oklahoma area, just needs to have a title.

Rust is okay, does not have to run, just needs to be semi-complete or complete with potential.

Prefer not to buy one completely disassembled but am interested in hearing what is out there.

Limited budget of $3-6K or less. Preferably less. Maybe you don't have one for sale but know of one available? A finder's fee would not be out of the question either.

I'm finding things have really changed in the 10 years since I searched for and bought my 40... Numerous people asking 50, 60, $70K+ for their FJ40s... Others selling 40s in pieces, in boxes for 12K-15K *(Well asking, I don't know about selling them).

CRAZY HIGH asking prices everywhere it seems.

Oh well... That makes it that much more satisfying when you find a good deal I suppose.
