Nice video, but I couldn't get past 6:37. Looks like a good trip, I gotta get me one of those 40's :D. Glad you got the rig back up and running. It didn't sound like you were going to make the repairs in time.

I got everything buttoned up at about 8 pm friday...I still have the rumbling sound when I decelerate in 4 high about 35 mph, I think it's from the T case, I will probably have to rebuild it...:crybaby: I have no experience in this field...I'm going to wait until winter...the bearings can wait a bit more. I know lots about diffs now!!

I would be willing to bet your driveshaft splines are worn out and causing driveline "whip". Take out your front driveshaft see if it makes any difference. If not, I would start suspecting the T-case.

My shaft splines are worn in the rear, and my pinion doesn't point at the t-case to cancel out the double cardan, so everything rumbles, including the tires...........I went and bought a Clarion stereo with more power--and that seems to have fixed everything. :D

I wish I had that "drive until it's :censor: up attitude"...It just bugs me to hear stuff...makes me think :censor: is going to break. I will try it but I doubt that is it, the spline is well greased and air tight just about...no give. It sounds more like a loose bearing, it sounds intermittent like the bearing is catching half the time and by being loose it makes noises...but I will try it.
