Looks pretty cool, but I wonder why no test drives.

Cons also should include-
Sunroof cut out of top
Gas Tank hole in body

I wonder how this engine does in a 40.. anyone have any experience with it?

It seems like an unexperienced seller. Again, who doesn't test drive before they buy, especially a 40 year old truck?
For 14k you also get:

One tire won't hold air
The radiator fan needs wired up
Weather stripping needs installed
Paint could use a polish
Rust in the rear quarter where previous owner installed aux fuel tank
Engine vacuum shutoff needs hooked up (working on it)

I seriously don't understand people who ask for serious coin for rigs that need a long weekend of honey-do's to be complete.

I am betting because either the driveshafts are not connected or the worry of overheating without a fan.
Way to much for a unfinished project. The OM617 is a solid engine that will outlast the rig if maintained. It should push a FJ60 fine, problem is no low end grunt on this motor. I have seen one in a 109 Land cruiser and I almost put one in my 109 when I had it, the lak of low end power scared me off and I sold the motor and adapter.
