So this skeleton of a cruiser needs to leave my yard so that another one can take its place. It has a hardtop and both doors that I would like to get rid of. Both the hardtop and doors are in great condition and are rust free. BOth are also very straight. Both have hideous red paint with a peeling clear coat. They are on a desert cruiser that has been spared by the rust gods.

The hardtop has had a sunroof added. The sunroof does not leak and was installed very professionally. The hardtop also has had an interior light added on the side, I think. I don't think this is original, but it looks very nice. In one corner, you can see where the previous owner used silicone for the seal between the fiberglass and the side. The doors have good weatherstripping (about 10 years old, very flexible. The door stops are gone, but everything else is there.

$350 for the top, $100 each for the doors. Of course, the price is completely negotiable and trades are welcome. (especially if you have a near perfect fj55 non windwing driver's door or a 72-77 fj55 tailgate, 55 front bumper, or 55 near perfect door panels.) Shipping is too much of a hassle, so local pickup is suggested. I can deliver the doors 50 miles or so, I am located in the high desert of Souther California, 45 minutes from the hammers or big bear.

I would be interested in the top and doors.

I have a few 55 parts to offer in trade, including ft and rear bumpers, aux gas tank, dash pad and floormat.

You can call and bug me if I forget to check back on this thread.

I might be interested in a couple of other things from that skeleton too.

Best

Mark A.

P.S. You install that 55 hood from Calico Kid yet?

I'll keep that in mind Mark, I'll be gone all weekend, so I'll try to contact you next week.
I'm not even sure if I'm going to use that hood or not, it has a big bondo chunk in a spot where a dent is very hard to get fixed nicely, while the one I have that folded in half actually looks less time consuming on my part. I am also looking for a strong 2F to replace my f145 that is getting beat to hell.

I'm still waiting to hear too.:frown:
