I'm located in Vail/Tucson, AZ. This is for local pickup or I can drop off if you're way out there. This is a cage I swapped out for a family cage.

It came out of a 79 FJ40. It's gloss white. The paint is in pretty good shape. There are few scuffs and some light surface rust where paint has been worth through. I had it outside for a few months but hey, I'm in AZ and it really doesn't rust much here. There's some dirt on the bases in the picture from being outside as well. It has some snaps along the front and back bars for some sort of bikini top that was on it sometime during its life (don't have it).

This thing is pretty stout and heavy. I wouldn't drop it on my foot or try and throw it at somebody unless they really deserve it. The metal is of the tubular style and the tubes are connected to each other using what looks like "welds". Each base plate has pre-drilled holes for some sort of fastening hardware. I would recommend using "bolts", not included.

There is no warranty on this cage either express or implied (always wanted to say that). There is a 1 day return period on this item with a $100 restocking fee. There will be no feedback given on this transaction because.....well, there's no place to do it. Good karma will follow those who deserve it and bad, bad things will happen to the others.

It's ready to roll. It was installed with the factory jump seats. I don't remember if there were spacers used or not on the seat. Wish I could but my memory declines every day. Not really worried about it at this point but someday it could be an issue.

I'm asking $99.32 or best offer. I can be reached at 520-248-0878 if your computer crashes right after you read this and can't respond. Actually you can call me, email me, PM, or send smoke signals. Really doesn't matter to me as long as I can understand what you are saying.

I go up to Phoenix every now and then to suck in some fresh smog and can probably drop off in that area if need be.

Thanks!

How long could you store it if it were paid for? Reason I ask is that Ian Rogers from the board is looking at the prospects of welding a similar cage in his white fj40, but isn't long on time. He will be driving thru Tuscon in March of next year with his 40, and could prolly pick it up on the way.

Kind of a long shot, but worth asking. He's out of town right now, which is why I'm asking for him.

Best

I live in Tucson as well and would be very interested in this cage if you're still selling it. Also do you know where I can pick up some front seats for my 1972 FJ40?

I have two front seats and three jump seats that fit a 77 FJ40 that I will sell for a reasonable offer. They need to be reupholstered. I'm in north Phoenix, if you are interested.
