FJ40 FJ60 third members on FJ80?

What about a 83 fj60? Think there would be any issues with the flange Match up onto the 80 series?

I thought the flanges were the same, but only the driveshaft is different. The early ones have the CV in the front, but when they went to the longer transmission in 85 they dropped the CV. John

Sorry for the confusion- I meant the flanges for the driveshaft/ pinion. (I'm probably not using correct terms) thanks for the response. 1985 is the magic number I'm looking for.
