FJ40 door locks?

So I’m in the key world now as I never lock my FJ40, but with my FJ45 if someone gets cute and locks the doors (and of course they can close after locking) then I’m stuck as there is no other way to enter without locksmith help or removal of doors/glass. The 40 has a non-locking rear so I can always enter that way if necessary, but not the 45.

I picked up a lock from @cims1970fj40 with a key that will be my 45’s door lock now but I got looking at the other locks I have in hand without keys. If I have the number of the lock, say 3412, and I can find a #3 key (I know, they’re NLA except used) can a key maker then make the 3412 key from that code? I am (key)clueless wrt keys. @ToyotaMatt?

I have an ORIGINAL 1969 and ignition key fits back hatch and drivers door. I believe one key for all was original.

Yes you are correct I have same on 1972 ,but now I have lost the key how do I fix this problem.

I must look for a number on the lock when I get back to the garage .
