The temp sender has a negative coefficient; resistance gets lower as temp rises. Disconnect the sensor to see if the fan stops running. In any case it should shut off about 30 minutes after the key is turned off.

Thanks, I will try that. It worked perfect for ~ 15 years, the fan usually runs for 12-15 minutes. The one day it never would shut off, so I unplugged it.
