FJ Cruiser a thing of the past?

Strange that they would scrap it and not try to introduce one of the many small turbo diesel engines that get 1000km/tank and have low emissions. That's what's in Europe, Asia, hell the rest of the world is running. (preaching to quire is done). I guess their pick up market is not doing too badly since they are not scrapping the massive Tundra.

Who is your source? I was just asking about diesels at a dealership and was told there are not any plans by Toyota to bring diesels to Canada.

Could care less, that truck looks worse than an FJ Cruiser, and who the hell needs a V8 diesel anyway, that crap won't get my business. Show me a 6cyl diesel, 70 series pickup and they got them selves $60,000 to 80,000 (heck of a better truck than a crappy power stroke for that kind of coin) from me anyday of the week!
