Hi everyone am starting this project and have decided on a 5.3 with a 2wd 4l60e transmision a marks adapter kit to keep the transfer case
will be putting a new radiator in as the old one was shot but anything I should look into to help smooth it out? Is this the most logical setup ( other than not doing it at all of course) and how much of a headache is the wiring going to be do indeed to grab the ecu from the ls setup?
any input would be greatly appreciated!

Ha. You and me both buddy. The dreams are deep, yet the cash is shallow. There's a long list I have, but chiefly it's going to be a swap. Looking for a 6.0/4L or 6L80E but am very interested in seeing how yours comes together.
