I have been exploring this idea for a long time for my ever thirsty 3FE/A440. I am potentially looking at having to replace the fuel pump & drop the tank so was hoping for some feedback from fellow Mudder's pros & cons. It looks highly susceptible to rocks & logs trashing it due to how low it rides being I have hung up on my spare tire several times before I went to a rear bumper spare tire carrier. With the price of steel nowadays a skid plate seems like a pricey option. I do have the Old Man Heavy 4" lift but the cargo drawers, heavy bumper & second battery take up much of the extra lift in the rear. Any comments or concerns would be much appreciated in such an expensive investment. Thanks!
