FJ 25 shock absorbers rebuild

Has anyone trided rebuilding their 25 shockys ?. I pulled the ones of mine to find they are orinigal. PN 2bj-48530a on the frount and 2bj-48520a on the rear. The two frount ones are good, one rear is us. It would be good to keep them on it. When extedened out their is a nut to strip them. Has aney one tried?

Nice shocks worth to be rebuild, but I don`t think it`s easy to do ( must be done professional I think)
What I know is, that for example Bilstein can rebuild shocks.
3 years ago I let rebuild a shock ( not for a Landcruiser)
and they did it fine.
Have a link sorry only Bilstein and only for the US market

Think you must try to find a shock repair service in Australia who can do it.

My 1962 fj40 had all 4 I want to rebuild mine to so I'll be paying close attention to this thread. I'll post pics of mine later this week after my daughter is born
