Problem: Trying to put the roof on the cab and am missing the piece between the top of the windshield frame and the roof. Therefore, nothing to attach the front of the roof to.

Problem 2: I have a '69 windshield frame for the '64 cab

Problem 3: I don't know what I need other than what SOR called a "sun bow" - and its not shown on their diagrams.

My thoughts are that a pre-'74 40 "sun bow(?)" would work.

Anybody know, or have thoughts or other suggestions?

Just for clarification- The hardtop has a rib running across the underside. It appears that the needed piece would slide into the front side of the channel on this rib. I am thinking that a piece from any FJ40 hardtop in the 64-67 range would work.

Considering you are working with a '69 windshield frame, you will prolly be allright grafting that piece from a 69 FJ40. IT WILL REQUIRE modifications, to be sure, but I am sure it can be done. Just a matter of time and patience.

That we have already seen you possess in abundence.:)

You can pick up one of those pieces from me when you come up.

My 64 fixed top, uses a rubber seal windshield/roof ,its not bolted.from what I can tell its only bolted at the A pilar in and out.
