Picked up my first cruiser a few days back. Been on the lookout for several months. Only thing I could find in my neck of the woods was either beat to death or the rust had gotten the best of them. I wasn’t in dire need for one so I passed on several. Found this one a couple of hours away from me.
This is by far the cleanest rust free example I’ve came across. Someone has spent several thousands of dollars on this runner. Interior is brand new. Carpet seats everything but the headliner.
I’ve had the rusty tacomas and 4 runners. What a nightmare. I paid up to start with a rust free candidate. It’s not going to be a woods toy. Too clean for that.
Southern rig best I can tell. I’ve found receipts out of Florida and South Carolina in it. The feller I bought it off of didn’t know anything about it. If anyone knows this rig holler at me I’ve got several questions. Thanks Rodney.

Welcome, nice rig!

I wonder if anyone recognizes who did the interior work? Or is that most likely one-off custom work? Looks so clean!

Seats I’m guessing have been reupholstered. Been afraid to try the sunroof or back glass until I can get it in the garage.

First, welcome. I'm fairly new on this forum and totally new to off-roading and overlanding. Thanks to this forum, I not only survived 8 days in Death Valley but actually enjoyed almost every minute of it. Been turning wrenches for 40 + years and have a fully outfitted commercial shop that we set up to service our company trucks, so I'm blessed. That looks like an outstanding 100. You will hear all about heater T's, timing belts, fan pulleys, water pumps, an overly complicated brake master that fails at the worst possible time, and spindle needle bearings and bushings... the people on this forum are helpful and so far I haven't run into a single snarky As***e. There's a member here, goes by Cruiser Patch, who has a good number of parts and plenty of Cruiser knowledge.

I go into lots of commercial truck shops. I’m building an automatic to wash tractor and trailers. Just finished my prototype in Grand Rapids. Think I’ve got a winner.

Welcome to MUD :flipoff2: :flipoff2: :flipoff2:

Are the running boards auto retracting/extending?
Are they just running boards (light duty) ore are they actual rock sliders?

Are you planning on wheeling it? The rims and tires look a little... sidewall deficient for airing down.

The running boards are powered Power up and down when you open the corresponding door. They are lighted when in operation. Once closed they remain lit up for about 20 seconds. Not the smoothest operating and I’m sure the first time you drag them on anything there destroyed. If I was going to beat on it they would be for sale.
