I am passing our 2001 LC with 238k to our teens as a 3rd vehicle. Picking up this today most likely. I’m pretty excited. Looked for LC over LX but I don’t want to pay the premium for a used LC and frankly, we all like the stuff on the LX.

Wow that is a good looking LX, I like that body style in comparison to the 2016+. So did you buy it?

Welcome to the club - '15 LX is the best!

I am thinking about it. Here waiting for a call back from my mechanic. Needs breaks. One smal f’ing on the rear passenger side bumper. It would take $41000 to own or someone else will get it. I’m waivering.

That is supposed to be one small ding on the right rear passenger bumper.

Break pads are at 4mm. How long do I have or do I need to replace now? Thoughts?
4mm is still good and depending on how you drive and where you live it could last several months or weeks.
A basic brake job at Lexus would be around $400 but having a good mechanic could be much less or DIY.

I just put the deposit down and tomorrow we go together to the same bank to do the loan. We both bank at the same credit union and so will complete the deal there. In the end the deal is $40,700
AWESOME!! Glad you got it, now I envy you. Post more pics later on man and if you need help getting the brakes done a lot of guys here always ready to lend a hand.

That's a great deal, congrats! Brakes are a 30 minute job. Toyota makes it so easy to swap pads.

Exact color combo I've been looking for for over 3 months. Every one that pops up near me has a black interior or exterior, it seems.

Same thing or it was 1500 miles away. Thought about a black with light interior a few times but then I remember the days of owning a jet black Audi A4 and backed off.
Yep. Wife hates black interiors. I hate trying to keep a black exterior clean. But damn, it shrinks the pool of candidates. And then throw COVID in there (don't want to fly) and add the fact that I have a trade in and I've resigned myself that it could take another 6 months before I find the truck I'm looking for.

Nice choice! Sometimes I think I want to upgrade to 2016+ eventually, but the 2013-2015 LX continues to grow on me. It's got just enough of the LC look and feel and all the LX refinements. The 2016+ interior of the LX is just ugly IMHO but I do like the updated body style.

You don't like Mr. Stay Puft? I think you get a lot of nod along the road. ;)
