Yesterday I started working on the 40. Henrietta's motor was locked up. I put her in 4th and rocked her back and forth but it wouldn't move. I labeled the spark plug wires and took out the plugs, sprayed some oil into the cylinders. Started rocking her back and forth and she started to spin. The last inspection sticker on the window was from 1987. The guy I bought it from said it had not run since the early 90's. The gas tank was taken out and just sitting in the back when I got her. I cleaned the plugs, checked the oil, used the vaccume to get the mudd dobber nests out of the carb and sprayed more oil into the cylinders. I had to take apart the ignition because I dont have an ignition key for her. Put a battery in, She cranked a few times and got oil pressure. So why not, I put the plugs back in, sprayed some starting fluid into the carb She cranked over 3 or 4 times And She jumped to life started to idle! I just love Toyota's
