Fire Season is here again...

Got put on evacuation alert yesterday at Murray Lake; Was pretty smoky by the evening so we packed up a day early. Nice spot to camp for anyone interested. Rough road in but did it in a Subi. About 40km south of Merritt, take the Juliett exit off the Coq.

Remember to put your fires out! (many places under a ban as of today)

Peace Region is bad! Smokey every day almost and Hudson's Hope just got evacuated, I have a job in Tumbler and by Hudson's Hope that is getting postponed until the fires are out and the evacuation orders are lifted. This is the worst I have seen it up here in 10 years and my first 5 years up here were just as dry.
