Looks like you got the core items to lift your truck - same items I plan on using for the 2gen 4R susp lift.
I am interested in what brand and part number of the shocks you will be using to use for front and back - it would help the next guy who might be looking for answers.

BTW - don't forget to take before and after pics (everyone likes them :D)

As for the diff drop question, read this link as it has a post of Steve of Sonoran Steel opinion on the necessity of diff drop.

diff drop. necessary? - Toyota 4Runner Forum

As for me what is $30 - $40 (you only pay it once) more for CV insurance especially if you have ADD.

oh i will take lots of pictures, that is a great thread and a good point about the cv's i am gonna go with the diff drop(part of it is i like working on stuff so why not:) but anyways i should be getting all necessary parts next week cuz of graduation money. ill keep you posted. and for the shocks i was researching the same question about shocks and came up with one where the guy was using front suzuki samurai shocks(rs5167) and rear(rs5009) he said the front bolted up perfect and the rear was the longest possible that you could use on the lift we are doing. if u have any more questions let me know ive been researching all day......

You're gonna need longer brake lines, especially in the rear.

:whoops: When I saw LSPV bracket I assumed extended brake lines along with it. Glad you chimed in KLF.

any certain type of brakelines you recommend? got a link?

nice klf ill be using that one
thanks

FJ80 front coils are for lifting the rear of 3rd gen 4runners. You will need the FJ80 REAR coils for the 2nd gen 4runner.

..or a set of FJ-Cruiser or 3rd-4th Gen 4Runner coils for a 2-2 1/2" lift. Just only use a 1-1 1/4" balljoint spacer instead for an effective match.

i got fj80 rear coils and shocks today for free:) thanks tools r us

ya he is a good guy I'm gonna keep in contact with him. Ill be ordering the rest of my parts this week ill keep u all posted. Any idea how tall the lspv mount is, I'm gonna make my own but not sure how tall?

where can you get one of those? or should i just not be lazy and do a search? haha

Nothwest Off Road used to sell one, and Downey... Downey is no longer in business but Jim, who was Downey, is on the forum. He might still have one. I think his handle is Downey or Tojo, something like that...

just finished(: and im very happy with the outcome. A few tools thrown but my knuckles arent broken! ill post pics and a short write up this weekend sometime! took in out wheeling today and it now flex's like a champ! again very happy:) i also did the isr mod while i had tools out and it helped alot on bottom end power, still contemplating on drillin some holes in the bottom of the airbox, i live in az so there arent many water crossings, but when that point comes to having to cross some water i want to know im safe, what do you guys think? i should probably start a new thread on it i guess.
