Hey Bailey--

Can you talk more about the weaknesses of the ARB in recovery situations?

If you don't use the d-shackles attached to the front, what do you use instead?

Thanks man.

I still have the factory tow point bolted beneath the ARB. ARB includes spacers to use to fit these. I wouldn't be suprised if Junk lost or broke them. :flipoff2:.

If reinforced, I wouldn't hesitate to snatch off the ARB, just not with those dinky little tow points it comes with.

I've seen plenty of folks using those ARB tabs for recovery. They work fine. That tab goes all the way through to the frame mounting IIRC. In the direction of pull they are plenty strong. Pull sideways and they will bend but not break from my experience. Best solution is to cut through and weld some real tabs in but the ARB stuff is up to the task IMHO. Heck, they held up to the PO's abuse just fine. I doubt Onur is gonna be that hard on his truck.

Hey, Onur, if you want some tabs built into that bumper let me know...

Sounds like a good trade for a parts run... ;) I hear you like to barter... :grinpimp:

Soon Nick. I have to stay home for a couple of weekends as the female unit is giving me an awful time about being away so much.

And thanks for the info. too about ARB recovery options.

Best.

Don't think Uncle Sam figured out how to tax barter yet...

Give me a couple days warning so I can round up some material otherwise I'm be happy to do it.

I use 4 fender washers on each side, 8 per shackle.

Nice bumper. If it came from Junk, avoid installing superchargers. That bumper is jinxed. ;)

thought the consensus was that these dinky attachment points were for the hi-lift?

That bumper will make your motor whine. :D
