Hey everyone! I know we have a "Welcome, New Members" thread but I just wanted to post something quick in the 200 area!! I read a lot of the posts and really enjoy this forum. I hope to contribute as much as I can.

Picked up a 2018 Cruiser in February with 18,000 miles on it! It has finally happened. My first Land Cruiser!!!

I have owned MANY vehicles and I've always wanted a Land Cruiser. I've toyed with the idea of picking up an 80 series but the 200 series just made more sense to me (coming from all newer vehicles). I've had many Jeeps, Trucks (including 2 Raptors), SUVs! I've enjoyed taking each of them on many adventure. I recently had a Land Rover LR4 that we modified but it still didn't check all the boxes for me. It seemed the natural transition is the Land Cruiser.

So far the Land Cruiser is GREAT! It feels like an unstoppable tank! I can not wait to take our first adventure (hopefully Utah in July) in her.

before the lift, wheels, tires and rock sliders...

Looking forward to meeting everyone at a meet up someday! - Jason

Truck looks great! Welcome to the insanity!

How do you like the Icon stage 2? I know it’s a subjective question, however, you did have two Raptors.

Those wheels look great on your truck. Do you have any rubbing with them? What is the offset?

Yes, I removed the mud flaps and front little flaps. I still have slight rubbing at full lock but it looks very minimal. I will report back with pictures...

I like Icons. I had them on a Tundra in the past. I like them because they are not too harsh and still have a nice feel to them. I used the Tundra through some rough country and big wheeling trip. Never a problem...

I don’t plan on Baja racing over whoops so the remote reservoirs were not needed. However, Icon told me if I changed my mind on the remotes I can send the shocks to them and they will throw some on. I have great history with Icons and no bad things to say about them. No brainer for me.

Tires and wheels do look great. What size and brand are they?

Thank you!

Congrats on the 200, it looks great! I did the @Brendan light mod as well, money well spent!

Really nice rig, those wheels look great!

Looks great.. Can I get details from you on the lift..? Did you keep factory rear springs and just do front lift with shocks all around.? Any need for upper control arm replacement..

Just picked up a 200 for my wife and this is exactly what I had in mind as far as lift/tire size...

Thanks, Chris

Hey Chris,

The shocks and coils are Icon Stage 1 (I mentioned earlier stage 2 which is incorrect). They come with rear coils. It's suppose to level the cruiser 2.5". I purchased the wrench to adjust the fronts so when I get a front bumper I can lift it up more.

Yes, I did the SPC upper control arms. I felt this was necessary to get a proper alignment and not stress the front end. So say you would not need upper control arms with a 2-2.5" lift, but I did not want to take the chance and pay for another alignment and other charges.

Here is the exact breakdown of parts:
- Icon Stage 1 shocks & coils
58660 2.5 VS IR COILOVER KIT
52750 REAR 1.75" DUAL RATE SPRING KIT
57625P REAR 2.5 VS NR PAIR

- SPC UCA SPC-25465

-
Icon Rebound 17" Wheels (25mm offset)

- Cooper ST Maxx 285/75R17 Tires

Hope that helps.

Nice setup. Love the icon wheel. I have a set too, just not sure either LC200 has my love or my other rig.

Wow, the Sequoia might trump the 200 for you?

LC200 do get the love. I got the rock warrior setup for LC200. The LC200 suspension still stock, hence I can't put the icon setup. The icon wheel will have Falken 285/75R17 on it. LC200 will need a little lift to wear it.

Thanks a bunch.. I really appreciate the info, I’ve been looking around the last few days at some of the available options.. It’s great to get details on the finished lift look I’m shooting for..

I've been looking for the right wheel and that picture did it for me... I'm going with the same wheel but in the bronze finish. Your truck looks awesome.

Also, how do I contact @Brendan to get one of those lights? His inbox is full... does he have a store or something?
