I have always thought the tracking on the gas gauge on my 80 is not true and I suspect it's the same guy who came up with that temp gauge response who maybe got his apprentice to do the PHH.

I read a while ago in the wheels section of our local paper that low fuel lights are triggered based on a minimum estimated driving distance, not necessarily how much gas is left. I guess they want to be sure you can go another 50 miles. In a civic that would only be a gallon...

Christo, What in the world is TPS? I've been at that mileage ever since this new engine was dropped in and it's similiar to what I was getting before.

I do drive with a heavy foot, but I don't try to get wheel at every light etc. Just hum along at about 90 on the highway.
