Yes, the flare must be removed to install. I think it is relatively easy to do. ADo you have to remove the flair to install?

I only have black.Any one try these on an LX450? The gaskets are distinct from toyota as they were colour coded so are hard to match up against the toyota numbers.

They fit perfectly and the side that sticks to the flare uses 3M tape. These are made of high quality EPDM rubber. I'm not sure what the OEM trim gaskets are made of.Yup, wondering if the gasket will work with the flare -blacks cool
