February 21st meeting

The meeting will be at the Larry H. Miller Toyota dealership off I-25 on Motor Way. This is their new location and here is a link to a map.

We will be discussing membership in The Colorado Association of 4WD Clubs and Luke will try to have a representative of theirs at the meeting.

Please come out and discuss this important topic related to club dues as well as future topics. Hopefully. we'll have a trail run report for February.

Just keeping the meeting reminder current. I almost forgot myself, lucky my wife reminds me.

I couldn't get the Colorado Association of four wheel drive clubs to call me back, so I'm not sure if we will vote on this this week or not. Still trying to get details on what the final cost will be and what will be expected of us as a club. Moving from phone calls to E-mails, hopefully I can get a meeting set up.

Walk in the main entrance and you will see stairs at the back. Go up the stairs turn right and the conference room is just past the break room.

We had a good turnout, 10 people. Nothing was voted on but there was general agreement in having representatives come in from FEAT and CO trail patrol to talk at future club meetings. Luke is still trying to get a rep from Colorado Association of 4WD Clubs for the March meeting. There was also interest in having some general HAM radio discussion next time and an informal class. Look for a new thread on this topic.

Though there was no decision there was discussion on ways to motivate club dues payments. In the past the newsletter was sent to members current on dues. Two things were discussed. One is if we join the Colorado Association of 4WD Clubs only paid up members would get the magazine. Second was Christmas tree cutting event would be for paid members only.
