Feb 21, Winding stairs run report

We had another great day on the Winding Stairs run. We had an LX 450, 80, 60, 4Runner, most of a pickup. We think the pickup was a little lighter at the end of the run than it was when we started. The big surprise was the amount of snow we had to get through. We made it to the top of the ridge and had lunch. We sat in the back of the pickup for lunch and wondered if the bed would hold us or not. The trail then started down hill and the snow as a couple of feet deep in spots so we decided to head back. We then made a trip around 300U and 300V.

The weather was great and we had a yet another good run.
