ha guys. Got a little trouble that i finally need to deal with on my wifes 87 runner. You can be in 3rd gear and it will go down the road with no clutch pushes in 35 miles an hour
no throttle at all WITH THIS YOU CAN HEAR THE ENGINE RACING DURING THIS. At normal idle it will show 2500 rpm. In the past if you shut down the engine, it would go back to normal rpms after restart..any ideas. the one thing i found out on my old honda that it had a fast idle valve and did the very same thing this rig is doing. but im sure the part is not called the same./possible culprits-temp sencer -egr- and for the lack of my knowlege on these rigs there is a diaframe/plunger under where the throttle bolts to the intake. On this, the boot is cracked. I might need to post pickers sunday on this if nobody knows what i am reffering to.THANKS GUYS
