Fast blinker problem on 78 FJ40

If it is a modern electronic flasher, then the rate it flashes is fixed and does not change with current. Just get used to it.

Definitely a more modern electronic type.
According to Toyota the old original ones are discontinued and this is the authorised replacement part. I questioned this and an in-house mechanic confirmed this was correct.

I bought my flasher from Coolerman: Cruiser Wiring - http://www.globalsoftware-inc.com/coolerman/fj40/wiringmainframe.htm

Select “Flasher Relays/Adapters”, then the bottom option.

Helps with grounding and LED bulbs. Its worked great for me. No idea if he ships overseas.

Looks electronic and it appears to say 27 watts maximum, so make sure that the bulbs don’t add up to more than that.
