Fall HDC Moab 2010

My reasons for not liking the Slickrock as much:
-can be noisy due to other wheelers wrenching on their junk into late night. This is a very popular CG with all sorts of wheelers. Quiet hours don't seem to be enforced as well as other CGs
-north end of town, not much at that end to walk to.
-cottonwood shedding as has been said.
-large groups love this CG and the bathrooms can get trashed.

The KOA is at the far south end of town and I've never stayed there. It seems nice and quiet but I have no idea.

Canyonland CG is sort of in the middle (ish) of town, smaller and cleaner. Usually less :hillbilly:'s are at this campground.

There may be more CG's inside Moab, I don't think so.

Canyon lands looked nice! Stopped in for a shower. Clean bathrooms, in the middle of town, and they have a gas station right out front with air!

Canyonlands is a nice campground, I have stayed there many times. Cabins aren't much to speak of, though, so if you want a cabin somewhere else is better. Cottonwood won't be an issue anywhere in October.

I'm still pushing for expedition, especially since I talked Ashleigh into letting me travel separate to GA the next week.

I'd be interested in Moab if you don't mind me tagging along.

You're definitely welcome Mark!
