My NAV unit is great-Kenwood with a built in Garmin.

I can also watch TV, A rear video camara (for the blind spot and trailer hitchin') DVDs, a MP3 player from a USB key, HD radio and Bluetooth phone for hands free.

I just picked up my FJ last month...Just took it out today and knocked some of the new off of it out in the mud :) Got way back in and would have liked to have had a GPS to go further.
Anyone that has the factory installed Garmin QUest 2 could you post some pictures of it installed.
Thanks!

You can see pics of the factory unit installed in the FJ info books you get from the dealer. I'm guessing that you can get the same unit for much less if you don't order it through the dealer. I really love that Kenwood unit that has the Garmin software. Looks great in the dash and for just under 1,000 I think it is way better than the factory unit.

I got the wrong info book mine doesnt show the optional accessories, and the other toyota dealer said they had given all their books away. I looked at the Navigation/Radio's and really liked them but I need to be able to take the GPS out of the vehicle when I go backpacking or peak climbing. The Quest II seems to fit the bill. You can buy the GPS by itself from newegg.com for $400 but the dealer installed package has a custom mount and, Im guessing, hidden power cables. From what they tell me you can un snap the GPS from the mount and take it with you, snap it back in to charge.
Dang Toledo, you got your FJ decked out :) How were the Bud Built skids to install?

Dont know if anyone is interested in it or not but I asked a dealership to send me information about installing the Quest2 GPS with FJ mount and they sent me the factory installation .pdf manual. Pretty detailed information. Email me if you want it: eloodo at cableone dot net

My NAVI is an OEM unit, from A 2005 Toyota Camry.
And then added the Eclipse BEC106 backup and FEC106 side view cameras, OEM XM radio, Lexus DVD player, Vaistech adapter for the iPod, Microphone for the voice activated navigation.
