I painted my ARB bumper too. I put 4 coats on it, took about an hour and a half to paint. Dried overnight, but I let is sit for a couple more days to make sure the paint was completely dry. I still have enough paint from the original quart I bought to do the rear bumper when I get it.
I realize you already found what you need, but in case anyone else needs a good resource for matching OEM paints, colors and other finishing needs, try FinishMaster Inc.
They have stores all over the USA, and sell all grades of PPG, Dupont etc.

Plus, another excellent option is powder coating those aftermarket parts. There are a lot of guys in the restoration business that prefer powder coating in lieu of paint due to durability. In the past, I didn't always like PC because of the glossy look, but there are several choices now and you can get just about any finish in any color.

I agree with you on the powdercoating option. I like the durability of PC, but no one near me could do it for the price I was willing to pay. They wanted $150 for the sliders and said the bumper would be $200 - $250 once they saw it.
I was able to do all of this for $65 (had to buy another can of hardener) and have leftover paint to do my rear bumper and touch-ups after I scratch them up. That's my kind of price! Plus, it gave me some experience with the spray gun.

Pics of the ARB mounted to the 100. I'm pretty happy with the results so far. Only time will tell how well the paint will hold up.

I would be really careful with any paint with a hardener or catylist.

I don't want to be a party pooper, but modern paints are not like spraying rustoleum on your lawn furniture.
All just my opinions though.

It's funny you should mention Rustoleum. I used Rustoleum semi-gloss black on my sliders on the Tacoma and they always looked good. Easy touch up and once a year I would hit the whole thing.
Greg...your truck looks great. I did the same thing with my 100 except i found a local shop that matched my trim color with powdercoat. I like how clean it looks matching the trim.

That is the exact same fence I was on. If I could have found a TJM T3C when I was ready for it, I probably would have bought. But, getting an ARB for $550 was just too tempting. After installing it, I found I really liked the design of bumper mounting system. The winch mount is separate and bolts to the frame. Then the bumper bolts to the winch mount. This setup seems very stout.

I picked up some paint this morning from the local Sherwin Williams Automotive Finish shop. Base Coat, Clear Coat and some scuffing pads cost me just under $60. I'm stoked to do this job now. Unfrortunately I won't be able to get to it until probably after Christmas.
After reading the post by Steve C, I'm also going to pick up a good respirator, cover alls and gloves too.

BTW, can anyone tell me what a "Drop Coat" is?
The base color application guide says apply 2-3 medium wet coats plus a drop coat.
